Qualcomm getting Wireless broadband permit in India

Previous year when Indian Government had agreed to permit Qualcomm Company to provide its internet service in India, Now Qualcomm is ready with it strategies to provide its Wireless Broadband services in India. Qualcomm is basically a chip making company from U.S. and wants to provide its Wireless Broadband Services to Indian customers. As the reports from Economic Times says that Qualcomm is finally ready for the Indian Customers to serve its high speed broadband services. Company has finally ready to go and have settled all of the differences.

When Qualcomm applied for this permit in June 2010, it paid around 4,913 Crore for the internet service in India. The main zones selected by the company at that time were Delhi, Haryana, Mumbai and Kerala. Now its planning to make customers with its high speed internet broadband services in all of the regions mentioned above. Qualcomm will get the final permit to provide its services in next four weeks if it pays the 410 crore fee on the behalf of the Tulip Telecom. After that it will get the permit in the next seven days.

Qualcomm Company’s permit was not accepted before because they didn’t apply for the licence of the internet service in the three main months of the auction for network permit. The reason was that the auction in 2010 ended in the month of June and Qualcomm applied a bit late in the December of 2010. This was the primary reason why company didn’t get the permit in the early times.

Qualcomm also applied for 4 companies permit but it was rejected so now it has merged the quest of all four into one permit request. It was the violation of the rules by applying under the names of four different companies. So when Qualcomm merged them into one entity the permit request is under consideration.

BSNL 3G is the widest covered ISP in India.

To activate 3G on your SIM, you need to go for either of FRC 51 or FRC 55.

With a FRC 51 recharge, you also get 1GB data free in first month while FRC 55 gives you 2GB data.
